Fast sites are built that way, not tuned.

With a headless CMS, editing lives apart from your website. Your front end can be plain HTML on a CDN: no database query, no plugin and no admin code between the visitor and the page. And the SEO basics this grader checks are fields in every Diggama blueprint, filled by editors before they publish.

  • Content over a REST API, for static or server-rendered sites
  • A webhook on every publish to rebuild your static site
  • Title, description and share image fields in every blueprint

FAQ

About the grade

How is the score calculated?

Google Lighthouse loads your page on a simulated mid-range phone over a throttled mobile connection and scores four areas out of 100: speed, accessibility, best practices and SEO. Your grade is the average of the four. The SEO basics further down are our own checks, read straight from your HTML.

Why does my score change from one run to the next?

Speed is measured, not computed: server load, third-party scripts, ads and the network all move a little between runs. A difference of 5 to 10 points on the speed score is normal. Run it two or three times before drawing conclusions.

Why test on mobile rather than desktop?

Google indexes and ranks the mobile version of your site first, and most visits come from phones. A page that is fast on a phone is fast on a laptop; the reverse is often false.

Do you store the sites I grade?

No. Your URL is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights and read once by our server for the SEO checks. Nothing is kept on our side beyond a short cache.
